We are specialists in providing liquid systems for refurbishment of old flat roofs.

Silicone Waterproofing is a cold applied application which forms an elastomeric, seamless membrane, the ideal solution for flat and pitched roofs. Even old 20 year old flat roof can be restored using the liquid silicone membrane.

The 100% silicone system is recognized as the very best liquid system. For use on Felt roofs, Asphalt roofs, Asbestos roofs, Concrete and Metal.

The Liquid silicone

The Liquid silicone for flat roofs is an excellent solution and has many benefits over traditional systems such as torch on felt for a number of reasons

No Heat

No heat, flames or risk of fire.

Inorganic System

Organic systems like felt break down from water, UV and wind .Our inorganic silicone system do not break down or biodegrade over time.

Our roof waterproofing system is flexible and will expand and contract with the building throughout the year.

No Weak Points

There are virtually no seams in the silicone flat roof system meaning the flexible membrane has no weak points that may split.

Maintenance Free

Maintenance free – Once installed your roof is maintenance free and the system comes with a 20 year warranty.

Life Time Expectancy

Balcony Waterproofing & Anti Slip Solutions

Most balconies and walkways consist of concrete elements where the lack of an effective waterproofing will allow water to penetrate and cause deterioration.

Our systems are designed for use on all structures ranging from public walkways to domestic balconies and industrial terraces.

With fast curing and compatibility with virtually all substrates including asphalt, concrete, steel, timber and more; these liquid solutions allow us to waterproof and protect surfaces in the most awkward of places with minimal disruption and impact on users.

Our systems are based on the most advanced polyurethane chemistry and deliver a combination of technical excellence, with a large range of color, texture and anti-slip options.

Metal Roof Waterproofing/Cut Edge Corrosion

If your property’s roof is finished with metal cladding made from corrugated steel you may be at risk from the effects of cut edge corrosion.

Cut edge corrosion

Metal roof corrosion

Many people have never even heard of this condition, and fewer are aware that their building is suffering from its effects. Around 65% of buildings with metal cladding will have signs of cut edge corrosion.

Premature failure of metal cladding roofing systems is commonly caused by the cutting of the cladding to fit during installation, termed as “Cut Edge Corrosion", leaving the metal edge exposed to the elements for long periods of time, the result is in corrosion/rusting of the metal itself.

These areas can then be treated in eight step process

  • Step 1

    1. Thoroughly clean off any moss, algae and grime from the surface using high pressure water jet.

  • Step 2

    Flak Paint Removal

Mechanically remove flaking paint and rust depending on the severity of the problem.

  • Step 3

Feather the edges of the peeling coating, so there are no ridges when the new layer is applied.

  • Step 4

Clean the cladding again using a degreasing agent otherwise grime will prevent new coatings from sticking to surface.

  • Step 5

    Apply Coat

Apply coat of Owatrol oil, high performance rust inhibitor.

  • Step 6

    Filling Gaps

Fill in any large gaps between overlapping cladding panels using a gun to apply the sealant.

  • Step 7

    Prime the treated area.

  • Step 8

    Liquid Waterproofing

Apply coat of the liquid waterproofing system combined with mesh tape if needed.

Treating cut edge corrosion using this combination will prolong the life of the cladding and therefore the whole building.
